The Friends of Tipperary Football made a presentation to Paddy Russell in recognition of his 50 years of service to refereeing. The presentation took place in Murphy’s Hotel before the Wicklow game last Sunday.
Over 30 members of the Friends of Tipperary Football travelled by bus to Aughrim, stopping in Tinahely for dinner before the game.
Emly man Russell was also honoured on the Saturday, with Andrew Fryday (West Board Chairman) and Philip Kelly (Chairman of Referees) speaking at that evening’s presentation to Russell in recognition of his service to refereeing.
