James Woodlock names captain and vice-captain of Tipperary minor hurlers ahead of Munster opener

Conor Collins has been appointed captain of the Tipperary minor hurling team for the 2026 season. The Galtee Rovers St Pecaun’s clubman will lead the Premier County’s minor side into what promises to be an exciting championship campaign.

Joining him in the leadership group is Shane Ryan of Borris-Ileigh, who has been named vice-captain. 

Tipperary will begin their championship journey this Friday, April 3, when they take on Clare. The game throws in at 7.00 pm in FBD Semple Stadium. The team for the game is expected to be named later this week.
