Tipperary gardaí repeat scam warning after €20,000 taken from account
The gardaí in Nenagh have repeated their call on the public to be vigilant in relation to the activities of cyber criminals.
The warning follows an incident in the north of Tipperary were a male customer of a bank had €20,000 removed from his account after acting on a text message he received, duped into thinking it was genuine correspondence from a local bank.
