CBS Thurles and Stakelums collaboration raises funds for the St Vincent de Paul
A huge thank you to Stakelums Office Supplies, who donated a €500 cheque to our chosen Christmas charity, St Vincent de Paul.
Well done to our Art Department & students with their amazing Christmas window creation.
Stakelums Office Supplies Window
This year’s Stakelums window was inspired by a Winter Wonderland Santa’s SatNav gets disrupted, and he crash lands in snow-covered woodland.
He has to rely on his map and his compass to deliver all the toys to all the boys and girls for Christmas.
He takes some time and dries off his socks and hat, and checks the naughty and nice list.
He secures his toy sack to the sleigh and feeds the Reindeer. Ready to lift off again.
Thanks to all of the TY boys involved from the CBS Thurles, the Art Department, Ms McCarthy, Ms Roisin Ryan, Woodwork Department, Mr Tim Shanahan and Stakelums Office Supplies for the opportunity to showcase the skills and talents of the CBS Thurles in the design and make of the Christmas Window.
The project is a great way to learn new skills, explore creativity and have fun while doing it and being able to help a charity in St Vincent de Paul, especially at this time of year, is a wonderful way to give back to the community too.
Thanks again to Stakelums.
