LIVE: Man arrested at Dublin Airport amid romance fraud scandal
Gardaí in Co Louth have arrested a man in his 30s at Dublin Airport involved in romance fraud.
The arrest was made on Thursday, 27th February, 2025.
The matter was reported to Gardaí late last year by a woman who alleged she had been defrauded of a significant amount of cash over a number of months, gardaí have reported.
Gardaí from Dundalk arrested the man at Dublin Airport who has been detained at a station in the Garda North Western Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
