Gold Standard Physio, a Nenagh-based chartered physiotherapy clinic, celebrated a landmark achievement last Thursday by winning the coveted Private Practice Award at the 2025 ISCP Awards in Dublin.
Overcoming stiff competition from shortlisted peers, including Blackrock Health and The Galway Clinic, Managing Director and Head Physiotherapist Cian McDonnell accepted the esteemed award in recognition of the clinic’s outstanding commitment to innovative, evidence-based care.

“It is an immense honour and privilege to be recognised by our professional peers—we were both surprised and humbled when our name was announced,” said McDonnell after the ceremony.
Expressing sincere gratitude, McDonnell added, “This accolade would not have been possible without the dedication of our hardworking team, the invaluable assistance of our trusted partners, and the unwavering support of our loyal attendees. This award truly belongs to them.”
The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), the national professional body representing over 4,000 Chartered Physiotherapists, stands as the voice of physiotherapy in Ireland. This prestigious recognition reaffirms Gold Standard Physio’s position as a trusted leader in private practice and a beacon of excellence within the wider physiotherapy community.
