On Sunday night (January 18), Tipperary locals were warned following reports of catalytic converter thefts from cars in the Nenagh area in recent days.
Two separate posts shared on the popular local forum Nenagh Community News claimed that catalytic converters had been stolen from vehicles in Nenagh and Toomevara between Thursday night and Saturday night.
Outraged locals were quick to respond, thanking those who shared the warnings while also voicing concern about the apparent brazenness of the thefts.

Another added: “Time for us all to invest in a Ring doorbell camera, I think. I’m getting mine!”
