Tributes pour in for Tipperary mother-of-two after long illness

Una Kinnane (née Ryan) of New Line, Drom, Templemore passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of the Oak ward, Waterford University Hospital, on July 1.

Surrounded by her loving family, she passed away after a long illness bravely borne.

Since the tragic news broke out, tributes have been pouring in for the Special Needs Assistant who worked at Cashel Boys National School.

“The Boys Parent Association wishes to send our condolences to the staff of the boys school on the passing of SNA colleague, Una Kinnane. Una’s grieving family are in our thoughts and prayers. May her gentle soul rest in peace,” paid Cashel BNS Parent Association in tribute.

Predeceased by her father, Timmy. Una will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband Tom, adored children Sarah and TJ, loving mother Peg, sisters Anna & Mary, parents-in-law John & Bridget, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished circle of friends.

May Una’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore this Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 8 om. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11.30am in St. Mary’s Church, Drom, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
