Tipperary County Council has made an order to close the R493-155 Carrigahorig to Terryglass road at Firmount, Carrigahorrig for over three weeks starting on Wednesday, October 15 to facilitate the emergency drainage works and resurface the road.
The road will be closed from the junction with the N65 at Carrigahorig to Terryglass village from 8am on October 15 until 4.30pm on Friday, November 7.
The following diversions will be in place:
South bound traffic from Carrigahorig to Terryglass: At Carrigahorig, divert south on the N65 to Borrisokane, west on the L1092 to Ballinderry and north on the R493 to Terryglass.
North Bound Traffic from Terryglass to Carrigahorig: At Terryglass, divert east on the L1089 Roran Road, north east on the L1093 and north on the N65 to Carrigahorig.
