Chrysalis and Presence Pitch Player showcased their sustainable, be-spoke designs on the catwalk and did themselves and the school proud.

Chrysalis, designed by Georgia Murphy, Katie Coonan and Leah Costello Corry was a monochrome creation inspired by transformation and mental health awareness.

Made from a shower curtain, leatherette off cuts, a tree branch and industrial rubber, this butterfly themed dress was designed to reflect the importance of nurturing positive wellbeing.

Presence Pitch Player made by Sinéad O’Dwyer, Katie Flanagan and Jessica Fogarty Quinn is a black and gold creation that symbolises the importance of the GAA in rural and local communities.

The trio used the streamers released in Croke Park at the end of the All Ireland Final. GAA emblems and motifs were interwoven throughout the dress to produce an eye- catching outfit that pays homage to Ireland’s traditional games.
