The EV infastructure works disruption will continue at Suirside Car Park up to mid-December

Sections of Clonmel’s Suirside Car Park will be inaccessible up to December 18 with traffic management in place to facilitate works to provide new EV (electric vehicle) charging infrastructure.

The closures of sections of the car park began on October 12. The project, funded by Tipperary County Council, is being funded by M&M Contractors Europe Ltd.

It includes road works and EV charger installation works.

Access to some parking bays and areas of the car park will be restricted during this time. The works route and traffic management will take place on a phased basis to allow the car park to remain open.

Tipperary County Council has assured motorists that any potential disruption will be kept to a minimum.

“M&M Contractors will ensure access to pedestrians and emergency services will remain uninterrupted. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your co-operation.

“If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact M&M Contractors Europe Ltd.”
