Next Wednesday, September 18, Páirc na nEalaí in Carrick-on-Suir will proudly host the annual Noel Russell Memorial Cup.
The game takes place in memory of the late Noel Russell.
As well as the tremendous work Noel did in the Carrick Swan club over the years, and his magnificent contribution to Tipperary GAA and South Tipperary GAA, Noel was also a great friend and coach to both schools for many years and it's fitting that these two teams compete in his honour on an annual basis.
The cup currently resides in Carrick CBS, who won last year's game.
Roll Of Honour:
2021 - Carrick CBS
2022 - Clonmel High School
2023 - Carrick CBS
Please come along and support the event if you can, and see two of the best schools Under 19 teams in Munster doing battle.
The throw-in is at 4.30pm.
