NEW: Former Rockwell College pupil added to Ireland squad as Rugby World Cup prep continues

Rockwell College would like to extend their warmest congratulations to past pupil Kate Flannery on being added to the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) squad as preparations continue for the Rugby World Cup.

Now playing with UL Bohemian RFC and Munster Rugby, the school has described Kate’s selection as "a testament to her talent, commitment, and hard work - qualities she demonstrated throughout her time at Rockwell".

"We’re very proud to see her progress to the international stage and wish her and the squad every success in the weeks ahead."
