Congratulations to Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed Transition Year students Aimee Igoe and Emma O'Connell who last Wednesday won the Young Cooks All-Ireland Final of the ETB 'TY Young Cooks Competition' in Cavan Institute.
Aimee and Emma made dishes showcasing the best of local Tipperary produce.
They made Chicken Supreme with Roasted Honey Organic Vegetables from Annie's farm in Ardmayle, and a warm apple crumble tartlet with 'Nutshed' Peanut butter and vanilla ice cream from Boulabán Farm in Roscrea.
Congratulations also to their teacher Ms Ciara Phelan who has supported them over the last few months in the lead up to the final.
