Inaugural peace walk to take place in Tipperary this weekend

Droichead Solidarity group's inaugural Siúlóid Síochána – Walk for Peace is taking place at Cabragh Wetlands on Sunday, September 6, at 2pm.

Inspired by Galway’s Steps for Peace, they are a community group standing for peace and justice for all.

They say everyone is warmly welcome to join them.

Songs, words, and musical instruments are welcome, and they will also plant a Tree for Peace on the day.

The event is free, with refreshments afterwards.

The group says donations to Cabragh Wetlands are welcome.

They also wish to thank Cabragh Wetlands for kindly hosting uthem.
