Tipperary residents association hold host AGM and mass

The Moyne Road and Bellevue Residents Association held their AGM and mass to remember deceased residents in Thurles Order of Malta last week.

The following were returned as officers for the coming year: Tommy Barrett (Chairperson), Peter Bolger (Secretary) and Michael Brett (Treasurer).

A mass to remember deceased residents was held after the AGM and was celebrated by Fr Martin Mareja.

Framed pictures were displayed of residents who have passed away.

A presentation was made by Olive Collins to Marianne Dwyer and John O’Gorman to thank them both for performing beautiful music and hymns during the mass.

It was lovely to see so many residents in attendance on the evening.

The mass was also attended by Cllr Peggy Ryan and John Lanigan representing Refresh Thurles Tidy Towns.

Special guests on the evening were Tipperary Minor Munster and All Ireland Champions Euan Murray and Cillian Minogue who brought along the John Doyle Cup and the Irish Press Cup.
