Ayle Farm are celebrating huge awards at The Blas na hÉireann Food Awards.

Located just outside Tipperary Town, Ayle Farm is owned and operated by Peter and Lorraine Randall.

They came out on top at the 2018 Blas na hÉireann Food Awards. Their Brand Ayle Farm went above and beyond receiving six awards at the event in Dingle.

The Blas na hÉireann Food Awards has been running for over a decade. It is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland with nearly 3000 products entered in to the 2018 competition to win gold.

The pair behind Ayle Farm were overjoyed with this year’s result.

“Best in Farmers Market for Tipperary four years in a row makes us extremely proud and stands to us as a small business. We also added Best in Tipperary”.

Not losing any momentum they added to these two awards with a top of the podium Gold for their Seville Marmalade followed by another Gold award for their Butterscotch and Brandy Sauce. A huge boost for the product which had managed to claim a Bronze award the previous year at Blas na hÉireann 2017.

Adding to the family run business’s already impressive run of success they rounded out the night by hauling two more awards from the event in Dingle, a silver award for their Mulled Apple Juice and another silver for their Pickled Cucumber.

Peter and Lorraine were ecstatic with the success and recognition of their Ayle Farm brand but also wasted no time thanking Supervalu Ireland for their continued support through the Food Academy Programme.

This gave Ayle Foods their first big break and is something they will always remember.

All of their products are made in small batches on their farm in Ayle, Oola, and thanks to the encouragement of many individual store owners and store managers, their products can be found in local Supervalu stores across Tipperary, Fermoy, Castletroy Limerick and a number of local stores.

A list of their stockists can be found on their website www.aylefoods.ie
