BREAKING: Man arrested in Tipperary after Garda member is injured in public order incident

In a statement issued to media on Wednesday afternoon, 23rd July, Gardaí have provided details of an incident which occurred in Emly on Tuesday 22nd July.

"Gardaí attended the scene of a public order incident that occurred in Emly, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday 22nd July 2025 at approximately 6pm.

"A member of An Garda Síochána suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated by emergency services at scene.

"A male in his 30s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Tipperary. He has since been charged and was due to appear in front of the Nenagh District Court today, Wednesday 23rd July 2025 at 10:30am."

No further details have been provided as of yet.
