Cllr John O'Heney is unhappy with the level of resources in west Tipperary

Urgent need for more gardaí resources to be allocated in west Tipperary

West Tipperary needs more Gardaí resources according to Cllr John O'Heney

Tipperary public representative has his out at the failure to provide additional gardaí resources in west Tipperary.
Cllr John O'Heney said he was very disappointed that no garda had been allocated to west Tipperary in the latest allocation of Probationary Gardaí.
"It is disappointing to see that the entire County of Tipperary has only been allocated one additional Garda in today's allocation of Probationary Gardaí.
Only two Gardaí have been appointed to the entire Division of Clare/Tipperary - One to Ennis and one to Clonmel.
No new Gardaí in West Tipperary and none in North Tipperary, with both areas are badly in need of additional resources.
Over the weekend I will write to Garda Management and Oireachtas Members to ask them to keep County Tipperary in mind for future Garda allocations.
The many excellent Gardaí we already have in the area need more support," said Cllr John O'Heney.
