Tipperary Town drugs seizure
Eagle-eyed Tipperary gardaí spotted a car that tried to avoid a check point last week - and after a chase found a stash of drugs on board!
Gardai were performing a checkpoint in Tipperary Town last week and pursued a driver who turned away from the checkpoint.
When the gardaí stopped the driver they found he had €1000 worth of drugs in his possession and they also established that he should not even have been driving as he was disqualified!
In a statement posted to Facebook the gardaiI remind people that they are performing checkpoints across Tipperary each day, and appeal to the public to work with them to "keep Tipperary safe."
