Scouts in Tipperary Town will be fundraising for a special cause this October

Tipperary Town scouts will be fundraising next month to raise money for homelessness.

The group have shared a link to their Focus Ireland fundraiser online, which explains: “Right now, more than 5,500 children in Ireland are growing up without a home.

"Behind that number are childhoods missing the moments that matter: no quiet space for homework, no friends coming over, no family meals together, no community to grow up in, no safe home to rely on.

“That’s why our team will be sleeping out against homelessness on Friday 9 October for Focus Ireland's Shine A Light. We’re taking action because every child deserves better.

“Please show your support by donating to our fundraising page: every contribution, big or small, gets us closer to creating a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.”
