The Southbound of the M8 is at a standstill past junction 7 (Cashel North) due to a crash this Sunday, January 5, according to reports.

People on social media are advising that motorists are clearing their windscreen but not clearing off all the snow on the roof of their cars and it's flying off the roofs.

There are also reports of sixteen cars stranded on the Kilkenny Road from Clonmel near Ninemilehouse and motorists are being told not to travel if at all possible.
