The overturned water tanker in Emly
A water tanker has been completely overturned in Emly, Tipperary, as photos of the tanker have emerged on Facebook.
Comments have flooded in with people concerned for the driver but one comment says there was no driver in the tank at the time as it has been abandoned due to the dangerous driving conditions.
Independent counciller John O'Heney also commented on the post saying:
"I have alerted Irish Water so they are aware of it. Please take care when driving past it."
The cold snap is set to continue over the coming days with motorists and the public alike warned of the 'invisible hazards' and extremely dangerous driving conditions that are caused by the icy conditions.
