A video is circulating on social media of the shocking moment a lorry in Tipperary overtakes another vehicle on an icy road and on a bend during one of the coldest spells in a decade in the Premier County.
One user on the Tipp Town community Facebook page said: "The roads are so bad all over but please just highlight the ignorance of this truck driver.
"Even in this weather trucks think they're invincible, overtaking on a bad bend at Kilshane, with the weather like this. He could have killed someone.
"Could people please slow down and not take unnecessary risks. We all want to get home safely to our families at the end of the day."

The footage was taken from the motorist's dashcam and it has been sent to An Garda Síochána.
