BREAKING: Emergency services rush to scene of 'bad crash' in Tipperary

Emergency services are rushing to the scene of a "bad crash" in Tipperary, according to reports on Wednesday night.

Stevie O'Donnell of Tipp Mid West Radio is reporting that emergency services are at the scene of a serious traffic accident on the N24 (Fawnagawn) between Tipperary Town and Bansha.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as the road is closed and will remain closed overnight.

Local diversions are in place.

Cllr John O'Heney said: "There has been a bad car crash on the Bansha Road N24 out of Tipperary Town. The road is blocked. Please use alternative routes."
