BREAKING: Tipperary school confirms closure until next Monday due to severe weather

The snow and low temperatures have had a huge impact on Tipperary this week

Presentation Secondary School Ballingarry will remain closed until Monday next due to the weather conditions, the school said in a statement. 

A Status Orange low temperature/ice warning for Tipperary is in effect until 11am and it will be following by a Status Yellow warning which lasts until noon on Friday. 

It will be extremely cold with widespread severe frost, ice and lying snow.

Many roads are still impassable in Tipperary with over 2,000 people still without water in the county.
