Dundrum Golf & Country Club were counting the cost of damage after Storm Éowyn roared through the popular venue overnight.
Several trees were uprooted after the powerful winds came through during the night, and the club took to social media to show members of the public how forceful the overnight conditions were.
Through their Facebook page they said, "Storm Eowyn certainly left its mark on the course! We’ve had a few fallen trees, including one that ended up over the second green. Thankfully, there’s no damage to the green itself.
"Our Greenkeeping team is already on it and will have it all sorted in no time. The course has taken a fair bit of rain, so we’ll carry out a course inspection tomorrow morning at 8am to determine if Saturday’s play can go ahead."
