Books of condolence to the late Pope Francis will open in Tipperary

Books of condolence for the late Pope Francis are set to open in Tipperary this week so locals can pay their respects to the late pontiff.

Tipperary County Council have announced that they will open books of condolence at each Civic and Municipal District Office in Tipperary from this morning (Friday, April 25) at 9.30am.

Tipperary Councillor Declan Burgess, Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council expressed his condolences on the death of His Holiness Pope Francis on behalf of the people of Tipperary.

The books will remain open for one week.

Books of condolence will also open online for those who cannot make it to sign in person.

The book will be available to sign online on tipperarycoco.ie.
