Local community and voluntary groups across County Tipperary are invited to organise events that raise awareness and inspire action on climate issues.

This nationwide initiative encourages grassroots participation, and Tipperary is aiming to be a standout county in its level of community involvement.

There’s plenty of scope for creativity! Your group might host:

  • Information-sharing sessions
  • Demonstrator or “how-to” workshops
  • Public engagement activities
  • Sustainable food events
  • Travel or transport-themed activities
  • Biodiversity walks or talks
  • Creative awareness events such as storytelling, arts, music, comedy, cabaret or games

Events that are inclusive, intergenerational, and locally focused are especially encouraged. Whether it's a film screening, a guided nature walk, a practical sustainability workshop, or a community feast featuring local produce, every idea counts.
