The scheme will reopen in January 2026 and information will be available at www.tipperarycoco.ie
Tipperary County Council have announced that applications for private housing grants for both older people and people living with disabilities are now suspended until 2026.
The pause came into effect on Friday, September 26, and will remain in place until January next year.
New applications for the Mobility Aids Grant, Housing Aid for Older People Grant, and Housing Adaptation Grant for Disabled People will not be accepted for the remainder of 2025.
The Council have advised that theywill continue to accept and process emergency applications. This exception is being made to ensure they can continue to support those who have the most critical need.

These temporary measures have been announced due to 90% of the allocated budget being spent and committed to existing projects.
