Micky and Mary Murphy, who live in Talbot Park in Boherlahan, celebrated 50 years together with a special gathering in Tom Hennessy's pub in the village on Saturday night last.
The popular pair were joined by family and friends for a night of music and chat with balloons festooned around the pub - put up by Bernie Fitzgerald earlier that day - and sandwiches from Maher's MACE shop in the heart of the village.
Oliver Hassett played the accordion and Jason Hassett played the banjo with many a song sang too.
Congratulations to the happy couple and wishing them many more years of happiness together.
