Eden Medical brings its aesthetic and skin expertise to Clonmel

For years, many people in Tipperary have travelled further afield for aesthetic and advanced skin treatments. Eden Medical wants to change that.

The Irish aesthetics group has officially opened its new clinic in the heart of Clonmel, giving people across the town and wider Tipperary area access to expert consultations, injectables and advanced skin treatments closer to home.

Located at Unit 1, Market House, Market Street, the clinic opened on 16 July 2026 and marks another step in Eden Medical’s continued growth across Ireland.

Clonmel forms part of a major period of growth for the Irish-founded group, which has now reached the milestone of opening its 20th clinic.

But the team says growth is only worthwhile if the experience clients receive remains personal.

Starting with the question: what do you actually need?

Aesthetic treatments have never been more visible.

From injectables to skin boosters and advanced treatments, people are surrounded by recommendations online. The difficulty is often knowing what is genuinely right for them.

That is where Eden Medical wants the conversation to begin.

Rather than walking into the clinic already knowing the name of a treatment, clients are encouraged to start by talking about what is bothering them, what they would like to improve and what kind of result they are hoping for.

“There is so much information available now, which can be helpful, but it can also make people feel like they should already know exactly what treatment they need. We want to take that pressure away. The consultation should be a conversation about the person first, and the treatment second.”

For people living in Clonmel and surrounding areas, convenience was another important part of the decision to open locally. Until now, someone looking for a wider choice of aesthetic or advanced skin treatments may have considered travelling to a larger city for appointments.

Eden Medical believes there is a growing demand for the same level of expertise to be available closer to home.

“Clonmel is a strong town with a very established local community, and we felt there was an opportunity to bring our approach here,” Dr Sheehan said.

“We want to build a clinic that people in Clonmel and across Tipperary feel is genuinely their local clinic.”

Looking fresher, not different

The aesthetics industry itself has changed considerably. For many clients today, the goal is no longer to look dramatically different after a treatment. They want to look rested. Fresher. More like themselves. Skin has also become a much bigger part of the conversation.

Clients are asking more questions about pigmentation, texture, hydration, firmness and overall skin quality rather than looking at injectables in isolation. It means the modern consultation can cover far more than one line or one area of the face.

And that last point is one Eden Medical is keen to emphasise.

Since opening, the focus has been on introducing the clinic to the local community and giving people a chance to understand what Eden Medical offers.

“The response since opening has been very encouraging. We are looking forward to meeting more people from Clonmel and the surrounding areas and building relationships with clients here over the coming months.”
