12. Alan Tynan Rating: 6/10 Fired over a class point in the first half on the run and covered his usual amount of ground, but there is no getting away from the red card he received in the second half. It was harsh giving the footage available from replays as he didn't connect with Cian Kenny, and he was extremely disappointed leaving the pitch. The dismissal wasn't fatal as it turned out and he will likely have the incident rescinded if Tipperar choose to appeal.

11. Jake Morris Rating: 6/10 Didn't get into the game in terms of possession and scoring threat, and it is a rare occasion that Morris will go scoreless in games. There is still that nagging feeling that he would be best used in the inside forward line, but his workrate in the middle third seems to be required by management.

10. Gearoid O'Connor Rating: 6/10 A quiet outing from O'Connor. No score on the board but, like Morris, he wasn't lacking in effort and ground covered. He did set up a few scores for Sam O'Farrell in the first half and contested high ball well, but there is more in the big Moyne Templetuohy man.

13. Darragh McCarthy Rating: 8/10 McCarthy has taken to intercounty action like a duck to water thus far. He has been incredibly efficient in his shooting with a fine first half score from play, and hit all of the placed ball opportunities presented to him. However, it is his playmaking ability that stands out with two John McGrath points and Oisin O'Donoghue's goal late in the first half directly assisted by the Toomevara man.
