Kaysie Joyce is proud ambassador for Ireland and Clonmel Boxing Club
Best wishes are extended to Clonmel boxer Kaysie (Copper) Joyce, who is representing Ireland at the World Under 19 Championships, which are being held in Budva, Montenegro until October 28.
One of the Clonmel club’s leading boxers, Kaysie won the gold medal in the 70 kgs Under 19 division at the Four Nations Championships in Scotland in June, winning by a unanimous decision in the final against Marshall Miller of England.
She also competed for Team Ireland at the European Under 19 Boxing Championships in Loznica, Serbia, in August, when she beat the European silver medallist in an outstanding performance.
The holder of a bronze medal won at the 2024 European Junior Championships in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and another bronze at the European Schools Championships in Maribor, Slovenia, in 2023, Kaysie won her eighth national title earlier this year.
Kaysie is daughter of Darren and Sarahjane Joyce from Baron Park, Clonmel, and all the community is rooting for her at the world championships.
