PICTURES: Tipperary star students awarded at Mary Immaculate College Awards ceremony

Just under €500,000 in scholarships and bursaries were presented to students at the annual MIC awards ceremony.

Talented Tipperary students were presented with awards at the sixth annual MIC College Awards Ceremony in the Lime Tree Theatre on Tuesday, 26 November. Almost 150 students, graduates and alumni from MIC were recognised on the night for their academic and other notable achievements.

Take a look at some of the photos captured by Don Moloney of the outstanding Tipperary students who were recognised at the ceremony.

Niamh Cummins from Knockanrawley, Co. Tipperary was also recognised on the night, receiving an Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship to the Bachelor of Arts programme at MIC. The scholarship, valued at €2,000, was awarded on the basis of high-level CAO points obtained in the Leaving Cert.
