Sinn Féin candidate Martin Browne made an emotional return to the Count Centre this afternoon after a brief recess in Thurles. The Cashel based sitting TD is now an outsider to retain his seat however there will be a recount with the election to tight to call.
After gathering those around him in Thurles this afternoon, he told Stephen Gleeson that: " Sinn Féin have pulled 10,000 votes again from Tipperary," he said as he made a call to "debunk" the myth that Sinn Féin were shadowy figures and called for them to garner more respect nationwide.
There will be "a recheck" as Martin Browne and Seamus Healy are neck and neck with less than one hundred votes between them currently in the race to take a seat. Have a watch...
