Drag night fever raised funds for a good cause in Tipperary Town

A very successful fundraiser was held for C-Saw Tipperary Town in Clanwilliams Rugby Club Pavilion.
C-Saw Tipperary is a voluntary organisation providing a drop-in listening and counselling support service for anyone who is feeling sad and depressed.

Free counselling is available by appointment. C-Saw was established to help members of the community who have lost loved ones to suicide and now extends to all individuals seeking support due to bereavement.

The committee would like to thank the sponsors and businesses of the locality for their kindness and support, once again highlighting the huge civic spirit in Tipperary Town. The hall was packed to the rafters and everyone who came enjoyed the fun and frolics provided by D’Beurs Little Christmas Show.

D’Bours are a drag collective who all found their queer expression in the Rebel County. The group formed last year through their love of drag and are going from strength to strength with pop-up shows around the country.
D’Beurs are definitely a name to watch out for in the future. Crowds were waiting at the door at 7pm and enjoyed a cheese and wine reception, before the show and later danced the night away to the music of Andrew Looby. In order to ensure the sustainability of C-Saw Tipperary, the committee will endeavour to host similar fun events going forward.
