“Extremely premature babies often spend months in our neonatal unit and their parents get to know the staff and other families in similar circumstances so well by the time of discharge”, Consultant Neonatologist Professor Roy Philips explained. “ Share a Dream - Dreamland is a dream venue for this very special occasion we can’t thank Share a Dream enough for organising such a magical party for all our families to enjoy”, said Professor Philips.
Dreamland is the prefect setting for this very unique occasion being the very first fully inclusive accessible fun centre in Ireland where all children regardless of their ability or disability get to role play and make their fondest dream come true.
Founder of Share a Dream and Dreamland Shay Kinsella said “We were thrilled to welcome Professor Roy Philips and this very special group of tiny graduates to their “Prem Party” in Dreamland and acknowledge the great work being down in the Neonatal Unit at the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Just to see these children play and having fun is magical knowing that when they were born they were battling to survive.”
