RTÉ confirms replacement for Late Late this week - some viewers will be disappointed

The Late Late show has now finished for the summer with it's return expected in late September.

But don't worry about what you're going to do from now on for Friday night entertainment as RTÉ has you covered.

Kicking things off this Friday night with a heartwarming comedy-drama Mrs Harris goes to Paris will begin at the Late Late Show's usual spot at 9.25pm.

The movie follows Ada Harris, a widowed cleaning lady in 1950's London. After spotting a stunning Dior dress in a shop window one day she dreams about one day owning one of her own.

Through hard-work and determination, Mrs Harris saves up and travels to Paris to buy a Dior gown, however, once she lands in Paris she's met with a mix of snobbery and kindness.
