Tipperary country music singer Dee Morrissey has said she is home from hospital and recovering.

Over the weekend, Dee ended up in A&E and issued an apology to her fans after she had to cancel a gig.
In a post on Wednesday, shared with her followers, she wrote: “Dear friends, I’m home from hospital and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent kind messages, well wishes, flowers and even Terry orange chocolates to me over the last few days.
“I’m on the road to recovery and I’m very blessed and thankful to have so many wonderful and kind people in my life.

“Apologies if I haven’t replied to all the messages yet. I literally couldn’t keep up with all the messages but I will get back to everyone soon.”
