Tipperary country music singer Dee Morrissey has ended up in A&E and has issued an apology to her fans.

In a statement on social media on Saturday, she said: "Apologies to anyone who was coming to see me in Irwins Yard Cahir on Saturday night.

"I ended up in A&E on Friday night and I’m being kept in again tonight so unfortunately I won’t make the gig.
"Thanks very much to for your understanding and hope to see ye all at some point over the Christmas."
