Tipperary celebrity Roz Purcell and All-Ireland-winning hurlers Seamus Callanan and John Leahy were among almost 600 runners who took part in the annual Clonmel AC MSD 4 Mile Road Race in Clonmel on St Stephen's Day.
The event is one of the highlights of the sporting calendar in the town and has now become a firm favourite during the festive season in Clonmel.
This year's race was blessed with bright sunshine and mild weather and large crowds turned out to support the runners.
The first of the 581 runners to cross the line was Kane Collins of Donor Harriers AC, Dublin.
Another Dublin runner, Ben Coughlan of Clonliffe Harriers AC was second, while Emily Sisson of Waterford finished in third place. She was the first woman home and her time of 20.29 set a new women's course record.
