Sharlene Mawdsley training hard for indoor championships
Tipperary born Olympian, Sharlene Mawdsley, who has a following of 225,000 followers on Instagram, has been sharing her training journey for European Athletics Indoor Championships.
The upcoming European Athletics Indoor Championships 2025 will start on March 6 to March 9 and will be held in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
"The ambition is to create an unforgettable and inspiring event under the motto 'Moving People' and to further position the sport of athletics among young and old.
"To touch people with the beautiful characteristics of athletics, the mother of all sports, dynamic, getting the best out of yourself and preforming in a team," the website says.
Sharlene has a very active presence on social media, sharing every step of her journey with her large following on Instagram.

Sharlene's latest post is a picture of her after she had completed a work-out, with the caption "lot's of hard work this week".

She also shares some of her healthy food ideas, various lifestyle posts, her training and work-outs and her overall fitness journey, as she trains for the upcoming championships.
The indoor championships is organised by the European Athletic Association.
