Equipment donated to Regional Sports Hub in Tipperary 'will save lives'

Jadwiga Waszkiewicz, Zara Whelan, Adriana Spancec, Elizabeth Mullery and Victoria Cummins from The Hub present the defibrillator to Patrick Davoren, TUS Sports Facility Coordinator

A brand-new Power Heart G5 Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was unveiled at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Regional Sports Hub, Cashel Road, Clonmel recently.

The defibrillator was kindly donated by Adriana Spancec, Director of the Hub, O’ Connell Street, Clonmel.

Patrick Davoren, TUS Sports Facility Coordinator, said,

“On behalf of TUS, Community Sports Hub users, I would like to thank Adriana and her team at The Hub for their kindness and generosity in donating such a valuable lifesaving piece of equipment to TUS Clonmel Sports Hub.

“It will save lives. There is nothing more valuable than life, health and wellbeing”.
