Brave brothers receive hero’s welcome in Tipperary during marathon mission across Ireland

Jordan and Cian Adams completed their 24th marathon in 24 days as crowds in Tipperary and Waterford turned out in force to show support
A huge crowd turned out at Clanwilliam Rugby Club on Tuesday to welcome Jordan and Cian Adams, better known as the FTD Brothers, as they continued their remarkable fundraising journey across Ireland.
The brothers undertook an extraordinary challenge of running a marathon in every county in Ireland across 32 consecutive days, raising awareness of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) while also collecting funds for dementia research and support services.
After completing their Tipperary leg, Jordan and Cian arrived in Waterford to finish their 24th marathon in 24 days on Wednesday, with supporters lining the route to cheer them on.

The pair have already raised more than €1.5 million to support dementia research and charities, including the Alzheimer Society of Ireland and their own FTD Brothers Foundation.
Their story has touched hearts across Ireland and beyond. Jordan and Cian have both been diagnosed with a rare hereditary gene linked to Frontotemporal Dementia, a devastating condition that has claimed the lives of their mother, Geraldine and 11 other relatives.
Frontotemporal Dementia is a lesser-known form of dementia that can affect people at a much younger age than more common forms of the illness, impacting personality, behaviour and communication.
Despite the emotional and physical challenge, the brothers say their mission is about creating hope and starting conversations around dementia.
