GG Designs and Nunaïa Beauty from Tipperary will take part in this year’s Irish Craft Village at one of the nation’s favourite summer events, Bord Bia Bloom.
Taking place from Thursday, May 29 to Monday, June 2 in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, this year the Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) welcomes 52 makers to the Irish Craft Village, all part of the Made Local campaign from across Ireland, to showcase their work.

DCCI designers, makers and craftspeople are preparing to sell their work to over 100,000 visitors over the five days. Last year, 33% of visitors to Bord Bia’s Bloom festival went specifically to visit the DCCI Craft Village.

Situated in the heart of Bloom, DCCI’s Irish Craft Village will host 52 Irish craft retail stands, from textiles and printing to jewellery, woodturning and home décor.
Visitors can expect unique gifting opportunities, encouraging those to shop Made Local this summer.
It will also feature a range of demonstrations from DCCI’s Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS) over the five days.
These demonstrations will be hosted by various associations including the Irish Artist Blacksmith Association and the Irish Woodturners Guild and will showcase Irish traditional techniques, offering insight into the craftsmanship and cultural heritage behind these skills.
