Tipperarywas well represented at the graveside in Glasnevin of patriot Thomas J.Clarkes on Saturday 29th November 2025 at the unveiling of a headstone at the grave.

The day had begun at 11 with a visit by the Seán Hogan/Thomas J.Clarke Commitee to the Republican plot in Glasnevin.
The project to have the unmarked grave of one of Ireland's greatest patriot's marked was led by the Tipperary-based Seán
Hogan/Thomas J.Clarke Commitee.
At 1.30 the sizeable crowd lined up at the main entrance to Glasnevin Cemetery, where the lone piper was led by local historian Martin Mooney,Andrew Wood's and Tom Hennessy on the short walk to the Clarke family grave. The Dublin Independent Republicans with Patrick Burke provided a colour party and Anthony Kelly.

Commitee spoke of how honoured he was as a Tipperary man to have been part of this noble project to get
the gravestone of Irelands great patriot Tom Clarke's family erected.

Tom said how he was proud to be in the company of men like John Crawley, and Tipperary men like Pat Boyce ,Terry Crowe and Donal Will's all life long Republicans.
Tom said that it was shocking that it took till now for the Mother, sister and Father of Thomas J.Clarke to have a headstone erected.
