The concert will take place at the Strand Theatre
Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society is inviting its performers past and present to get involved in a special concert in memory of deceased members in September.
Melodies & Memories – A Remembrance Concert will be staged by the Society at the Strand Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir on Friday, September 5.
Carrick Musical Society PRO Siobhán Grace-Regan invited past and present members of the Society to take part.
She said the concert will “traverse the rich history” of Carrick Musical Society while paying tribute to the remarkable members who have shaped its legacy.
“We will have a live orchestra on the night under the direction of our Musical Director Fergal Carroll.
“There will be plenty of choral and ensemble work so we need singers. Rehearsals will take place throughout August.

Tickets for the concert will be on sale at the Strand Theatre’s box office on Saturday, August 30 and Wednesday, September 3.
The box office will be open from 11am to 3pm on both days. You can either visit the box office or phone Marian during those times at (051) 645050.
