Council proposes closing part of Carrick-on-Suir's North Quay for nearly three months

Tipperary County Council has given notice that it proposes to close the L-6714-1 Castle Lane and L-6713-2 the Quay (East of Dillion Bridge) in Carrick-on-Suir for nearly three months to facilitate road improvement works as part of the latest €2.9m phase of the Carrick-on-Suir Regeneration Scheme. 

The council is proposing to close these routes between 7:30am on Monday, March 2 and 5.30pm on Friday, May 22.

Traffic will be diverted via the L-6715-1 Castle Street, R-676 Main Street and the L-27018-1 Barrack Lane.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday, February 5 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
