Cllr Declan Burgess has said following his representations, he can confirm footpath upgrades on Cashel Main Street in the New Year.
The footpath will be replaced and upgraded from Bowes & Co to Fox’s Pub. The work will start on January 6th.
Cllr Burgess said: "This section of footpath on Main Street hasn’t been fit for purpose in a few years.

"There has been many trip hazards here and I am delighted contractors will be in place in the New Year to deliver this long waited project."
Access to businesses and properties will be maintained.
